After more than half a century's unremitting efforts, Liaoning University has become the only comprehensive university in Liaoning Province with many disciplines such as literature, history, philosophy, law, foreign languages, art, science, engineering and management. There are three campuses, namely Chongshan Campus in Shenyang.
The teaching area of Shenyang Puhe Campus and Liaoyang Vu Thang Campus covers an area of 20 16 mu, with a building area of 618,000 square meters, which is one of the national "2 1 1 project" key institutions.
