In the fifth round of national discipline evaluation, Peking University University of Economics got A+ in theoretical economics, applied economics, China history, world history and business administration.

China discipline ranking (CDR) refers to the overall level evaluation of first-class disciplines. The purpose of evaluation is to serve the overall situation, universities and society. The "subject evaluation" carried out by the Center for Degree and Postgraduate Education Development of the Ministry of Education is mainly degree, and the evaluation of professional degree level is the professional degree part of the "subject evaluation".

Discipline evaluation refers to the overall level evaluation according to the first-level disciplines in the Catalogue of Degree Granting and Talent Training in China. The evaluation results are published in a certain way, and the results and analysis reports are fed back to the participating units.
The first round of discipline evaluation was conducted in three batches in 2002-2004. A total of 229 degree-granting units 1336 disciplines applied for evaluation voluntarily. The second round of subject evaluation was conducted in two batches from 2006 to 2008. The number of participating units increased to 33 1 unit, and the number of participating disciplines increased to 2369.
