Jiang Chengyu, the current president, was born in 1947, Han nationality, professor and doctoral supervisor. 1988 received his doctorate from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He used to be the head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, deputy secretary and vice president of the Party Committee, secretary of the Party Committee, secretary of the Party Committee and president. In March, 2000/Kloc-0, he served as president (deputy minister level) of Northwestern Polytechnical University, president of the Graduate School of Northwestern Polytechnical University in June, 2000/Kloc-0, and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Northwestern Polytechnical University in June, 2003. Professor Jiang Chengyu has successively won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1, the second prize of Guanghua Science and Technology Fund 1, the first prize of provincial and ministerial science and technology progress award 1, five second prizes and four third prizes. Published more than 100 papers in domestic and foreign journals. Professor Jiang Chengyu was awarded the korolev Medal by the Russian Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the honorary academician title of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
