The College of Sports Science has a long and glorious history, and a large number of well-known scholars at home and abroad have worked in the College of Sports Science and made great contributions to its development. Professor Zhang Huilan, a famous sports anthropologist, has made great contributions to the establishment and development of the School of Sports Science. Mr. Ji Lili, head of the Department of Sports Science at the University of Wisconsin, and Professor Zhu from the School of Sports Science at the University of Illinois have taught and studied in the School of Sports Science. After several years' teaching staff construction, the current Institute of Sports Science has a strong teaching staff, including experienced and knowledgeable professors such as Professor Lu Aiyun, vice chairman of China Sports Biomechanics Society, and Professor Zhang Jiancheng, vice chairman of China Sports Psychology Society, as well as a large number of young and promising academic backbones, such as young and middle-aged experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country, Professor Chen Peijie, winner of the Young Teachers Award of the Ministry of Education, and Professor Liu Yu, a leading talent in Shanghai.
