Brief introduction of Montpellier III University
Montpellier University, founded in 1289, is one of the oldest universities in the world. It was formed by the merger of three major disciplines in Montpellier at that time: medical college, art college and law school. Montpellier University, adhering to the fine tradition, successfully formed its own characteristics in the next few centuries, established its prestige in the world intellectual community and became a recognized world-class scientific research center. From 65438 to 0970, universities faced disintegration and reorganization, forming three independent universities. The original College of Arts, Arts, Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences formed the present Montpellier III University, which was named "Paul Valerie" to commemorate this writer and philosopher who was born in Seth and educated in Montpellier.
