Compared with last year, Shenzhen University's world ranking rose from 427 to 327, and continued to maintain the momentum of rapid development. In the latest ranking of world university disciplines by USNews, Shenzhen University has 19 disciplines, and 8 disciplines rank among the top 100 in the world, among which optics, condensed matter physics, nanoscience and technology, physical chemistry rank among the top 50 in the world, and optics ranks third in the world. Shenzhen University has achieved excellent results in many important rankings, and has entered the main list in four recognized authoritative world university rankings-Times Higher Education World University Ranking, American News World University Ranking, QS World University Ranking and academic ranking of world universities of Soft Science, ranking the top 30 universities in mainland China on average. In the ranking of world-class disciplines of soft science, 9 disciplines of Shenzhen University are in the top of the world 100, and the number of the top 100 disciplines is ahead of the "double non-"universities. Shenzhen University, referred to as Shenda for short, is located in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, and is a public institution of higher learning under the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government of Guangdong Province.
