The university town in Qixia District of Nanjing includes: Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University, Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Normal University, Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, Xianlin Campus of Jinshen College of Nanjing Audit University, Zijin College of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Zhongbei College of Nanjing Normal University, Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Forest Police College, Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Institute of Physical Education, Nanjing Institute of Information Technology and Nanjing University of Technology.

Xianlin University Town is located at the eastern foot of Nanjing Zijin Mountain, which is 5 km away from Xinjiekou1downtown. Construction started in June 2002, and it is one of the earliest university towns in China.
