First, the application conditions for international freshmen to apply for undergraduate courses at the University of Georgia

1. Application Form for International Undergraduate Admission
To apply for an undergraduate course at the University of Georgia, you must first submit an application form, and then submit additional application materials to the school (please do not submit any additional materials before submitting the application form).
Pay a non-refundable application review fee of $75.
Please submit your application form and additional application materials before the application deadline (if you don't submit the required documents before the application deadline, your application will be incomplete and the admissions teacher will not review it).

Step 2: Copy
High school transcripts: In order for the admissions teacher to review your high school academic performance, you need to submit all high school transcripts. If you have completed your high school courses outside the United States and are not recognized by American colleges and regional associations, the University of Georgia recommends (not compulsory) that you use the step-by-step assessment service to ensure that your transcripts find a suitable way to review.
College report card: If you attended college courses during your high school study, you need to submit your college report card. However, if you take college courses after high school, you will not be eligible to apply for the University of Georgia as a freshman. You should submit a transfer application. If you have completed high school courses outside the United States and are not recognized by American colleges and universities associations, the University of Georgia recommends (not compulsory) that you use the step-by-step assessment service to ensure that your transcripts are properly reviewed (if you do not submit this document, your application for admission to the University of Georgia will be incomplete).
3. Official SAT test scores or ACT test scores.
When applying for the University of Georgia, international freshmen need to submit official SAT or ACT scores. There are many misunderstandings about standardized examination itself and its role in entrance examination. In the University of Georgia, only the Board of Directors of the University of Georgia has the minimum score requirements for standardized test scores of students applying for four research universities:
The score of SAT- Chinese test reaches 430, and the score of SAT- Mathematics test reaches 400, or
The scores of the English part and the math part of the ACT test have reached 17.
If the applicant has taken multiple ACT or SAT exams, the University of Georgia will select the best score for review.

4, English language ability requirements
For international freshmen applying to the University of Georgia, if your mother tongue is not English, you need to prove that your English level meets the academic learning requirements of relevant courses at the University of Georgia. Applicants can prove their English proficiency in the following ways:
The SAT language test score reaches 430, or
ACT test reached 17; or
IELTS 6.5 or above; or
TOEFL score of at least 213; Or the TOEFL paper test score reaches 550 points; Or the TOEFL score reaches 80.
Official TOEFL test scores or IELTS test scores must be submitted directly from the test center to the University of Georgia. The code of TOEFL and SAT in the University of Georgia is 58 13, and the score of ACT is 0872. SAT and ACT test scores must be within five years, while TOEFL and IELTS test scores are valid for two years.
5. School/counselor evaluation and teacher recommendation letter
All freshmen are required to submit an academic recommendation letter and a school/counselor evaluation letter when applying for the University of Georgia.
The recommender can submit the recommendation letter and evaluation letter directly to the University of Georgia in electronic form, or print it out and mail it to the Undergraduate Admissions Office of the University of Georgia.
6. Proof of economic guarantee
Fill in and submit the economic guarantee certificate;
Submit passport personal information;
Bank statement or deposit certificate. The University of Georgia accepts scanned copies and originals of bank statements. Please indicate the exchange rate between domestic coins and US dollars in the declaration. Only before the application deadline can the convertible courses on the submitted official transcripts be used to calculate the applicant's minimum hours and GPA scores, and the credits being studied will not be counted in the admission and GPA scores.
Minimum requirements:
30 semesters or more, GPA 3.2;; Or more than 60 semesters, GPA 2.8.
Variable courses:

For international transfer students applying to the University of Georgia, if your mother tongue is not English, you need to prove that your English level meets the requirements of academic study in related courses at the University of Georgia.
