Sichuan Agricultural University, headquartered in Ya 'an City, Sichuan Province, is a national "double first-class" construction university, with "2 1 1 project" as the key construction university.

The predecessor of Sichuan Agricultural University is Sichuan Tongsheng Agricultural School, which was founded in 1906. It was merged into Sichuan University twice in 1927 and 1935. 1956, the Agricultural College of Sichuan University moved to Ya 'an, the former capital of Xikang Province, and established Sichuan Agricultural College. 1985, it was renamed Sichuan Agricultural University. ?

As of March, 20021year, there are 8 post-doctoral research stations in our school, including 1 1 for doctoral degree, 49 in two disciplines, 18 for master degree, 88 in two disciplines, and 10 for professional degree. There are 4 national key disciplines and key cultivation disciplines and 20 provincial key disciplines.

In 2005, the school was identified as one of the 40 key universities in the national discipline construction plan for aiding Xinjiang. Animal Nutrition and Feed Science 20 17 and Crop Science 20 18 were selected into the National Academic Innovation and Intelligence Introduction Plan (11Plan).
