Introduction to the School of Advanced Translation, Shanghai International Studies University

The School of Advanced Translation of Shanghai International Studies University was established in April 2003 18. It consists of Applied Translation Department (MTI Teaching and Management Center), Translation Theory Department (Translation College), Student Training Center and Oriental Translation Magazine. The college offers master's degree and doctoral degree in translation, master's degree in translation (English-Chinese, French-Chinese, Russian-English-Chinese) and international conference interpretation. There are more than 500 graduates and more than 200 students at present.

The College has always been at the leading level in the field of translation studies, publishing a large number of relevant academic works and compiling a number of professional translation teaching and translation research textbooks, which has made positive contributions to the development of professional translation teaching and translation research.
