Maternity leave for university professors
During maternity leave, wages are paid as usual. The national maternity leave policy has detailed provisions:

For maternity leave, the national labor law clearly stipulates that it is not less than 90 days. In addition, each region has its own supplementary provisions on maternity leave.

Maternity leave for female employees is 90 days, including prenatal leave 15 days. In case of dystocia, maternity leave will be increased by fifteen days. In the case of multiple births, the maternity leave will be increased by 15 days for each additional baby. If a female worker is pregnant and aborts, her unit shall give her maternity leave for a certain period according to the certificate of the medical department. The Ministry of Labor also issued the Notice of the Ministry of Labor on Several Issues Concerning the Maternity Treatment of Female Employees, which explained maternity leave, treatment during maternity leave and the scope of application of female employees in detail:

First, when you are less than four months pregnant, you should give 15 to 30 days maternity leave according to the opinions of the medical department; If you are pregnant for more than four months, you should be given 42 days maternity leave. During maternity leave, wages are paid as usual.

Two, maternity leave expires, due to physical reasons, still can not work, the medical department proved that it exceeded the treatment during maternity leave, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the employee's illness.
