University College London
The third oldest institution of higher education in England. 1826 was established in the name of "University of London" and is the first institution of higher learning in London. College * * * has 1 1 academic colleges, 100 academic departments and research centers. The teachers, students, alumni and researchers of this school include 34 Nobel Prize winners, 3 Fields Prize winners, many politicians, organization leaders and several famous artists.
The college ranks fourth in the UK, behind Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College London (according to The Times in 2024). Comparing the rankings of several top universities in China, they are roughly equivalent to Shanghai Jiaotong University (fourth), Nanjing University (fifth) and Fudan University (sixth).
However, UCL can be at the same level as Peking University Tsinghua in terms of actual global influence and global university ranking. In the latest QS World University Rankings (2024), UCL ranks 9th in the world, slightly higher than Peking University (17) and Tsinghua University (25th).

These data show that UCL's comprehensive influence is indeed higher than that of most well-known universities in China in some aspects, but it cannot be simply understood that UCL will definitely be stronger than well-known universities in China after graduation.
At present, the vast majority of international students studying in UCL are mainly undergraduates or above, and most of them are studying for master's degrees.
