Students have been on the list in the national college architectural design competition for many years. In recent years, they have won many awards in international and regional architectural design competitions. In the 20 13 China International Solar Decathlon Competition, they ranked sixth in the world, third in China, tied for energy balance and hot water first, fourth in engineering technology and fifth in architectural design, which was the biggest prize of this competition. In civil engineering and urban and rural planning competitions, it has also won many national awards;

At the same time, the College participated in the establishment of Xiamen University Architectural Design Institute (1998 awarded Grade A qualification), Xiamen University Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., architectural and civil engineering University Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, Xiamen University BIM Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center and Chinese and foreign classic architectural model exhibition halls, Xiamen University School of Architecture and Planning and Xiamen University Cross-Strait Urban Planning College, forming an educational mechanism combining teaching, scientific research and production practice, with doctoral and master students.
