China Mining University
China University of Mining and Technology, located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the Emergency Management Department have jointly established universities, and the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" have jointly established universities.
The first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China, members of the high-quality resource sharing alliance of high-level industry-specific universities, the world energy university alliance and the international higher education alliance of mining, energy and environment, were selected into the "11plan", the education and training plan for outstanding engineers and the national postgraduate plan for building high-level universities.

The school was founded from 65438 to 0909 in Jiaozuo Road and Mine School, Henan Province. 1938 The Engineering College of Northeastern University, the Engineering College of Beiping University and the Engineering College of Beiyang University merged in Chenggu to form the National Northwest Institute of Technology; 1946, Jiaozuo Institute of Technology resumed classes in Luoyang, Henan; 1950 In March, China Mining Institute was established on the basis of Jiaozuo Institute of Technology.
1953, the school moved to Beijing and changed its name to Beijing Institute of Mining and Technology. The school was renamed Sichuan Institute of Mining and Technology; 1978, the school was rebuilt in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, and the name of China Mining Institute was restored; 1988, the school was renamed as China University of Mining and Technology; In 2000, the whole school was handed over to the Ministry of Education for direct management; In 2004, it officially owned the graduate school.
As of February 2023, the school has two campuses, Wenchang and Nanhu, covering an area of more than 4,200 mu; 23 colleges and 72 undergraduate majors; There are 2 144 full-time teachers, more than 23,600 full-time undergraduates and more than 3300 master's and doctoral students.
