Aiwa University is one of the oldest universities in Seoul. Founded at the beginning of 1887, it is the first women's university in Korea. With more than 20,000 students, it is also the largest women's university in the world. Formerly known as Ewha School, it was named after Emperor Gaozong and Empress Mingcheng of North Korea, to commemorate the wife of scranton, the Methodist doctor who was the first to carry out women's education in North Korea. 1948 was renamed Ewha Women's University. The English name is Ewha Women's University.
The school is located in Daejeon Cave, Ximen District, Seoul. There are still many ancient buildings in the school, the most representative of which is the Welch-Ryang Auditorium of Christian Church at the school gate.
At present, the school has 14 colleges, 67 departments and majors, and an international education college.
In addition, the west of pear university is adjacent to another famous university-Yonsei University. The pear garden in the south of the university is a famous tourist area.
Ewha University Ewha Women's University, founded in 1886, is one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. It is located in the center of Seoul, only 5 minutes' walk from the subway station. The school has 14 colleges, including medical college, pharmacology college, business college and engineering college, 66 departments, 32 research centers and 13 graduate schools. Among them, the graduate school of international studies uses English mathematics.
In order to promote the international educational exchange between teachers and students and help complete other international projects of Ewha University, Ewha International Education College was established in 1985. Since its establishment, the Institute has received thousands of students from the United States, Japan, Canada, Germany and other countries to study and experience life in Korea. The Institute of International Education offers two mixed education programs for foreign students who want to know about Korean and Asian cultures: Pear Flower Asian Studies and International Agency School. These two programs are specially designed for students who want to know about Korean and Asian cultures. Students can gain experiences that cannot be fully obtained in their own countries through multidisciplinary courses and cross-cultural exchanges.
