Li Zhi's former residence is a cultural relic protection unit in Fujian Province.

Li Zhi's former residence is located in Wanshou Road, south gate of Licheng District. It is the place where Li Zhi, an outstanding thinker in Ming Dynasty, lived in his youth. Later generations changed his room into an ancestral temple. In recent years, it has been renovated and Li Zhi's portrait has been hung indoors for viewing.

Li Zhi's former residence is located in Quanzhou's old business district and Mianjie, with three bays and two depths. There is a front hall and a main hall. The main hall is 6 meters wide and 9 meters deep, with a patio in front. Now, according to the ancient houses in southern Fujian, it has been transformed into a memorial hall.

Li Zhi's former residence was once converted into a ancestral hall. During the renovation of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, two stone seals were dug out of the ground: one engraved with "Li Zhi" and the other engraved with "Zhuowu". Now there is one in Beijing History Museum and one in Quanzhou Cultural Management Association. Li Zhi's former residence is listed as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.
