How about Asia (Macau) International Open University?
Founded in 1978, the first official university run by China people in more than 400 years was founded in Macau, the southern corner of China, and was named East Asia University. The birth of the University of East Asia marks a new stage of Macao's higher education, which has a pioneering historical position in the history of Macao's higher education development.

1988 In February, in order to achieve social stability and economic development in Macao, the University of East Asia was reorganized into a public Macao University and a public Macao Institute of Technology. At the same time, the original institute of East Asia University merged with the Open College, and the Open College of East Asia was formally established on September 1 day of the same year. 1September 1992, with the approval of the Macao government, it was renamed the Open University of Asia (Macau). This is a new university jointly established by the former Macao Open College of East Asia and the Portuguese National Open University. Dr Xue Shousheng, an internationally renowned educator, became the first president of the Open University of Asia (Macau). The current principal is Professor Yan Zexian.

The Open University of Asia (Macau) is constantly committed to the reform of existing courses and the upgrading of the latest information, so as to cultivate more and better outstanding senior talents for Macau and become the mainstay of China's reform and opening up. On March 25th, 2004, with the approval of the document "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Agreeing to Recruit Self-funded Students in Some Provinces and Cities in the Mainland" issued by the Teaching Office of the General Office of the Ministry of Education (2004) No.5, and with the approval of the Higher Education Auxiliary Office of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the school has been recruiting mainland graduate students majoring in business administration for further study. In 2005, the Ministry of Education approved our school to recruit doctoral students majoring in business administration in the Mainland, and in 2007 it expanded to 25 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. In 2009, we will continue to recruit full-time MBA and MBA doctoral students in 25 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
