Northeast Li Dian University is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, and is a key university in Jilin Province. It was selected as the first batch of key universities in the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" and "Basic Capacity Building Project of Central and Western Universities" of the Ministry of Education.
The school is one of the first construction units of the National Engineering Practice Education Center, a scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students, a national continuing education base for professional and technical personnel, a national cultural quality education base for college students, and a national social sports talent training and scientific research base.
