The requirements for accompanying students in the United States are as follows:
If the spouse and/or unmarried children under the age of 2 1 want to accompany or reunite with the main visa applicant during their stay in the United States, they should apply for an F or M derivative visa. The United States has not yet introduced derivative visas for parents of F or M visa holders.
If the family members do not plan to live and live in the United States with the visa applicant, but only want to travel during the holidays, they can also apply for a tourist (B-2) visa.
Spouses and their families are not allowed to work in the United States as F or M derivative visas. If the spouse/children want to work in the United States, they must apply for the corresponding work visa.
Applicants accompanied by family members are also required to provide the following materials:
1. Proof of the relationship between the applicant and his spouse and/or children (such as marriage certificate and birth certificate);
2. It is recommended that family members apply for visas at the same time. If the spouse and/or children have to apply separately for various reasons in the future, family members should bring the passport and visa copy of the student visa holder and all other necessary documents.
