Third, the traffic guide.
Xiamen Garden and Botanical Garden is located in the center of Xiamen, backed by Nanputuo Temple of Wulaofeng and Xiamen University, and close to Zhongshan Road business circle. About 1 km from Zhongshan Road; About 2 kilometers from the ferry terminal; About 3 kilometers from Xiamen Railway Station; It is about15km from Gao Qi Airport.
Traffic route:
(1) Bus: Take Bus No.87 and get off at Botanical Garden Station; Take bus No.3, 12, 19, 2 1, No.32 and No.857, get off at No.1 Middle School Station and walk for about 300 meters.
(2) Subway: get off at Zhongshan Park Station on line 1 and walk for about 300 meters in the direction of Zhonggushan Tunnel.
(3) Self-driving: exit of Zhonggu Tunnel Botanical Garden on Chenggong Avenue (parking spaces in scenic spots are limited, please try to choose green modes such as bus and subway).
Main entrance:
West Gate of Huyuan Road: Close to the main scenic spot, with convenient transportation. In order to visit more conveniently and quickly, tourists try to take the west gate of Huyuan Road. However, it should be noted that the parking lot at the West Gate of the Botanical Garden has been demolished, and parking is not allowed at the West Gate Square!
South Gate of Botanical Garden: Escalator-style mountain and sea landscape trail with parking lot.
South Gate Traffic (Address:No. West Erli, Longhu, Siming District 1):
(1) Take bus No.87 (in the direction of Li Fangxiang) at Ximenwai Botanical Garden Station to Cangli Station, and transfer to bus No.49 (in the direction of the south gate of Botanical Garden) at the same station.
(2) Parking lot: There are 270 parking spaces in the parking lot (including 28 large parking spaces). During the trial operation, the parking lot is free and can only enter and leave at 18:00 every day.
South Gate and West Gate Transportation: Take bus No.49 from the South Gate Square of Botanical Garden to the South Gate Station of Chawu Garden, and then to the Science and Technology Middle School Station. At the same station, transfer to Bus No.87 (towards the cruise center pier) and get off at Botanical Garden Station.
Landscape traffic vehicle
Route: South _ Mulinshu Lawn Station (originating station)-Rainforest World Station-Fleshy Area Station-Garden Road Station-Xishan Garden Station-No.9 Node Station of South Gate (return point charge: one-way 5 yuan, round trip 10 yuan, you can buy tickets at the originating station or get on the bus halfway to make up the tickets. One seat, one ticket. 1.20m children need to buy tickets.
Time: 8:00 for the first bus in summer and 7: 20 for the last bus/kloc-0. Trains/kloc-run every 0/0 minutes, and there are more trains during peak hours.
Succulents are also called succulents and succulents, which means that these plants have thick and juicy succulent stems, leaves or roots.
The succulent plant area covers an area of about 4 hectares and was established in 1999. There are three indoor exhibition halls: cactus exhibition hall, succulent plant exhibition hall and forest succulent plant exhibition hall, as well as outdoor exhibition hall simulating desert environment. There are nearly 3000 species (including varieties) of succulents in more than 50 families in this area. It is one of the most distinctive parks in our garden, and it is also an important base for succulent plant cultivation, garden application demonstration, scientific research and popular science education in China.
rain forest
The area of rainforests in the world is about 16 hectares. There are 24 old scenic spots in Xiamen, namely Ziyunde Road and Qindong, Du Gao. In the Ming Dynasty, there was a municipal cultural relics protection unit-Chu in Qiaoxi Bridge.
On the basis of maintaining the original natural vegetation, the garden enriches species diversity by introducing and cultivating plants with rainforest characteristics, forming a variety of community-level rainforest vegetation, showing rainforest characteristics such as strangulation, flowering old stems, hanging gardens and this phenomenon. Build a fog system in the park, spray tap water by atomization, and the space is full of shadows, thus creating an illusory and real fantasy world.
During the National Day, the spraying time of Rainforest World is 9: 30-1:30, 14: 30- 16: 30.
Tianjiesi
Tianjie Temple was built by Song Yue, a monk in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. Since ancient times, the temple has rung the bell 108 times every morning. The bell is melodious, clearing the heart and solving "one hundred and eight disturbing dreams". Paradise Xiao Zhong is one of the old "Little Eight Scenes" and one of the new 20 Scenes in Xiamen. Behind Tianjie Temple are huge stones, natural caves and stone carvings written by Huang Riji in Qing Dynasty. The two ends of the cave are connected, and when the wind blows, the cave answers, and the mountains and rivers roar endlessly, such as tigers, hence the name. There are many inscriptions and dozens of poems on the stone walls inside and outside the cave. Among them, Four Scenes of Fairy Rock by Huang Riji is the most valuable, and Poems of Japanese Generals in Ming Dynasty is the most valuable. The latter is listed as a municipal cultural relics protection unit.
Baihua pavilion
Baihua Hall is a garden-like pattern, with a lotus pond in the center and lotus, Wang Lian and water lilies on the surface. The whole building is framed by China traditional gardens, and five groups of exhibition halls are arranged along the pool or connected by corridors or roads, all of which are glazed tile white wall powder columns. Or hold exhibitions with different themes all the year round on holidays.
In Baihua Hall, you can see 100 kinds of plants along the corridor, such as crow's mouth, rattan, even fog, hanging gourd tree, worry-free tree, camellia and so on. The unique shade flora is dominated by ferns. Gu Teng's stone path, mossy stones, compact space and infinite landscape constitute a three-dimensional painting with unique southern scenery. There are two stone carvings in the corner of the gallery, one is Yanwu of Chen Congzhou, a famous landscape architect in China, and the other is Rongyin Steel Book by Gao Huai, a famous calligrapher.
Taxodium ascendens sparse lawn
Aralia elata lawn, referred to as Aralia elata lawn, was built in 1960s and designed by Professor Xiaoxiang Sun, a famous landscape master in China. Located in the south of Shiwan Lake, with an area of about 1 hectare.
There are 3 genera and 37 species of Araceae. There are 3 genera 15 species of plants introduced in our garden. About 10 hectare of Aralia elata forest is planted in the southeast of Aralia elata lawn, which is the largest pure Aralia elata forest in China.
Party and state leaders planted many memorial trees here, including the big-leaf camphor tree planted by Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of reform and opening up, when he visited Xiamen in February, 1984. It has become a place where people commemorate the great achievements of a generation of great men. Peng Zhen, Wan Li, Wang Zhen and other leaders have also planted trees here to commemorate.
Wanshihu
Shiwan Lake, formerly known as Wanshiyan Reservoir, was built in 1952. This is a combat readiness reservoir in Xiamen. It is formed by the confluence of two major water systems in the park-Shuimocheng River and Qiaoxi River. Now it has become the core of landsc in Botanical Garden.
