Mr. Fang Wenquan studied international relations at the University of Sydney and Tsinghua University, and is the founder and chairman of Tianda Group Co., Ltd. and Tianda Research Institute. Mr. Fang Wenquan also serves as co-chairman of Tsinghua University National Institute of Strategic Studies, director of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, head of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in Australia, honorary chairman of the Australian Chinese Association and honorary chairman of the Australian Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China.

Mr. Fang Wenquan founded Tianda Group on 1993. Tianda Group is a multinational investment holding company, involving pharmaceutical biology, fast-moving consumer goods, color printing and packaging, creative media, resources and environmental protection, real estate development and financial services. The group is headquartered in Hong Kong. Tianda Group is the controlling shareholder of Tianda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 00455).

Mr. Fang Wenquan founded Tianda Research Institute in 2005. Tianda Research Institute is a public welfare strategic research think tank. By thinking, discussing and studying the development problems of China and the world, we put forward new ideas, new viewpoints and new theories that conform to the trend of economic and social development. Tianda Research Institute cooperated with Tsinghua University to establish Tsinghua University National Institute of Strategic Studies.
