Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 In order to further standardize the use and management system of our school motto, school emblem, school flag and school song, strengthen the protection of our school's intangible assets, and encourage and protect the enthusiasm of teachers and students for invention and intellectual creation, these management measures are formulated in accordance with the Provisions of the Ministry of Education on the Protection and Management of Intellectual Property Rights in Colleges and Universities and in combination with our school's reality.
Article 2 The school motto, school emblem, school flag and school song are the symbols of the school, the concrete embodiment of the school spirit, school philosophy and humanistic spirit, the condensation of the school's history and culture, the condensation of the school's glorious tradition and fine style of work, the guidance, cohesion, edification and radiation functions, a profound campus culture with cohesion, appeal, vitality and creativity, and a valuable intangible asset. Standardizing the use of school motto, school emblem, school flag and school song is conducive to enhancing the sense of responsibility and mission of teachers, students, staff and alumni, further enhancing cohesion and centripetal force, and promoting the construction of campus spiritual civilization with its own characteristics.
Article 3 Subordinate units mentioned in these Measures refer to the internal institutions and affiliated institutions of schools; The measures referred to in teachers and students refer to employees, temporary employees, logistics service industry groups and school-run enterprises employed by schools and their subordinate units, as well as graduate students and college students studying in schools.
Chapter II Specific Measures
Article 4 The school motto, school emblem, school flag and school song belong to the intangible assets of the school and are the property of all teachers and students. No unit or individual is allowed to tamper with the contents of the school emblem at will.
Article 5 When using the school motto, school emblem, school flag and school song, the teachers, students and employees of the whole school shall not deceive or damage the image of the school, and have the responsibility and obligation to safeguard the reputation of the school.
Article 6 The school motto, school emblem, school flag and school song can be used to produce various approved printed materials to promote the school and carry out various activities to promote the school tradition and campus spirit. Without approval, no unit or individual may use the school logo.
Article 7 The setting of school motto and school emblem in public places on campus must be examined and filed by the campus culture construction office.
Article 8 Before the flag-raising ceremony every week, the radio station regularly plays the school song; Students should play and sing school songs at the opening ceremony and graduation ceremony; Holding various large-scale cultural and sports activities should play school songs; As a prelude to the school radio station, the radio station will play it regularly when broadcasting.
Chapter III Supplementary Provisions
Article 9 These Measures shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
Article 10 The final interpretation right of these Measures belongs to the Campus Culture Construction Office of Shenyang University.
