According to the Measures of Shandong University of Technology for Undergraduates to Change Majors (Shandong University of Technology Fazheng [20 13] 123), the work of undergraduates to change majors in 20 15 (excluding students majoring in Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, school-enterprise cooperation in running schools, art, sports and spring enrollment) was carried out at the beginning of this semester. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1.20 14 ordinary undergraduate students: a group of admitted undergraduate students are limited to applying for changing majors in a group of undergraduate majors; The second batch of students who enroll undergraduate majors are limited to applying for changing majors between the second batch of undergraduate majors (the enrollment batch is based on the enrollment catalogue of Shandong Province, and the students enrolled in other provinces are implemented according to the enrollment batch standard of Shandong Province); Grade 20 13 undergraduate courses are limited to those transferred to our college and have plans to change majors. See annex 1 for the number of students enrolled in each major and the number of students who can be admitted. According to the relevant requirements of the Provincial Department of Education, students majoring in normal education can transfer to non-normal majors, and students majoring in non-normal education cannot transfer to normal majors.
2. The Academic Affairs Office has calculated the total credit scores of all students in grade 20 14 according to the credit score calculation method in the Regulations on School Registration Management of Shandong University of Technology (No.[20 13] 124), and the colleges announced the total credits by major from March 1 3.
3.20 14 students who want to change their major and whose academic performance ranks in the top 30% can log in to the educational administration system before March 3-March 4 17: 00 to fill in the application for changing their major (see annex 4 for the operation method), and the relevant institutions will review 2065438+ before March 5 17: 00. Please download the list of students applying for major transfer from "Academic Affairs Office Website-Download Zone-Student Status" after 9:00 on March 5th, and report it to the Student Status Management Section of the Academic Affairs Office after the transfer of the statistical form requires the signature of the students. Students of Grade 20 13 who intend to change majors and whose academic performance ranks in the top 30% of majors should fill in the Application Form for Professional Promotion (Annex 2) and submit it to the Teaching Management Section of our college before March 4.
4. Students who have the intention to change their major, whose academic performance is not in the top 30% of their major, but have obvious professional expertise, should submit the Application Form for Changing their Major from Shandong University of Technology (Annex 2) and relevant supporting materials to the Student Status Management Section of the Academic Affairs Office before March 4, and the academic affairs office will organize experts to uniformly review their qualifications for changing their major.
5. Relevant colleges shall revise the specific assessment and selection methods according to the students' registration, professional characteristics and the Measures of Shandong University of Technology for Undergraduates to Change Majors, and report them to the Academic Affairs Office before March 5 17:00. After summarizing, the Academic Affairs Office published the number of students applying for transfer and the selection method on the website of the Academic Affairs Office on March 6. Students who apply for two or more majors at the same time will be disqualified
6. According to the overall arrangement of the school for majors, the selection and evaluation of majors in colleges and universities should be completed from March 7 to March 8, and the selection results should be publicized to students from March 9 to March 6+00. If the number of transfer applicants is less than the planned number and no interview is organized, please be sure to contact the students themselves and confirm the final selection results before announcing them. Report the published selection results to the Academic Affairs Office before March 10. The paper materials submitted should be signed by the Dean and stamped with the official seal of the college, and the electronic version should be sent to xjk@sdut.edu.cn.
On 7.3 1 1 day, the Academic Affairs Office reviewed the situation of students changing majors in various colleges according to relevant regulations, officially announced the list of students changing majors, and went through the formalities for students changing majors.
8. Students who are allowed to change their major will report to the transfer college on March 12 (Thursday of the second week).
9. Students who apply for changing majors should check the results of changing majors selected by the college in time. Students who have been approved to change their major must apply to the college where their major is located within the publicity period of the college if they intend to drop out of school. At the end of the publicity period, after the academic affairs office announces the list of majors to be transferred, it is not allowed to quit and must study in a new major. (Tip: In order to ensure that students who change majors can study smoothly when they change majors, colleges are requested to remind students who intend to change majors that they must understand the relevant training plans before registering to change majors, and conduct course auditions in the proposed major. )
