Xiamen University was founded in 192 1 by Mr. Chen Jiageng, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader. It is the first university founded by overseas Chinese in the history of modern education in China, and the only high-level university located in the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project" in China.

Visitors can only enter the school from the south gate and the west gate with the second-generation ID card. Take buses 1, 15, 2 1, 45, 75 1, 84 1 and 959 and get off at Xiamen University Station. Depart to the southeast and walk 80 meters along Siming South Road to reach the south gate of Xiamen University.
