Chapter I Conditions and Procedures for Changing Majors
Article 1 If the conditions of the school permit, students who are interested in other majors and have expertise during their study can change their majors in order to give full play to their expertise. On the premise of complying with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education, the provincial education administrative department and the school, they can change their majors upon their own application and the approval of the school and the provincial education administrative department. Students who change majors must meet the following basic conditions:
1. Full-time undergraduate students are disoriented, studious, self-motivated and healthy;
2. Good political performance, law-abiding, no violations of law and discipline during school, and no punishment;
3. Before changing majors, there was no failure in the course examination (check);
4. I have never changed my major during my study at school;
5. Students who drop out of school to start a business or retire from school need to change their majors because of their own circumstances, and they meet the requirements after being audited by the school;
6. Students admitted in the form of special enrollment may not change their major if there are relevant regulations in the country or there is a clear agreement with the school before admission.

2. The Academic Affairs Office shall review and summarize the admission places and assessment methods (procedures) of each department, and report them to the college leaders for approval before implementation.
3. Students who apply for a major change shall go to their department to receive the Application Form for the Major Change of Ordinary Undergraduates in Changzhi Medical College. Fill in the form according to the regulations, the dean will review and sign it, and then return it to the academic affairs office.
4. The Academic Affairs Office conducts qualification examination on all materials applying for changing majors, and after signing the opinions, transfers them to the department where students apply for changing majors.
5. Each department shall review the students applying for transfer in accordance with the published Transfer Regulations, and report the list of students to be admitted and the review results to the Academic Affairs Office.
6. The Academic Affairs Office shall review and summarize the qualifications of students majoring in transfer, submit them to the dean's office meeting for approval, and notify the transfer department.
7. In the first week of the first semester of the new school year, all departments should apply for the student ID card of the newly transferred students at the Academic Affairs Office, and inform the students to register with the transferred departments with the student ID card.
8. The professional handover of each department shall be carried out according to the above procedures. Outside the specified time, no professional transfer procedures will be handled.
Chapter II Organization and Management of Changing Majors
Article 4 When the class size permits, the number of students transferred from four-year and five-year programs (except clinical medicine) to this major should be controlled within 5% of the total number of students in this major in principle, and the clinical medicine major should be controlled within 2%.
Fifth majors with different years of study belong to the arts and sciences category when they enter school, and to the arts and sports category when they enter school. In principle, you can't change majors.
Article 6 If the credits obtained by students after changing majors meet the requirements of the teaching plan for changing majors, they shall be recognized after being examined and confirmed by the Academic Affairs Office. Those who do not meet the requirements can be used as elective credits.
Seventh transfer students must complete all the credits transferred to the professional teaching plan and complete all the teaching links, and meet the graduation conditions before they can be awarded the graduation certificate.
Article 8 Changing majors under the following circumstances is a special case and is not subject to the above conditions:
Students who find a certain disease after entering school can study in other majors after being examined by the medical unit designated by the school.
With the approval of the school, students do have some special difficulties and cannot continue their studies without changing their majors. For the above-mentioned students to change majors, the students themselves apply and the departments put forward suggestions. After the examination and approval of the department, the academic affairs office will examine and submit it to the dean's office meeting for approval, and then transfer to a new major.

Chapter III Supplementary Provisions
