Jing Cheng, male, Han nationality, was born in Beijing on July 1963. He was born in Pingshan Town, Huaining County, Anqing, Anhui Province. Medical biophysicist, academician of China Academy of Engineering, academician of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, professor of Tsinghua University Medical College, professor and doctoral supervisor of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Systems Biology Research Center of Tsinghua University Medical College, director of Beijing Biochip National Engineering Research Center, and chairman and president of Boao Biological Group Co., Ltd.

Jing Cheng is mainly engaged in the research and development of DNA chip, protein chip, cell chip and chip lab, as well as applied research in health management, disease diagnosis, food safety testing, drug research and development, and related research on big health management relying on Internet big data and artificial intelligence.

Academician Jing Cheng's scientific research achievements

Professor Jing Cheng has been engaged in biotechnology research related to basic medicine, preventive medicine and clinical medicine for a long time, especially biochip research. Before returning to China, his research results on "Lab on a Chip" were published in Nature Biotechnology 1998, and the title of "Lab on a Chip" became the cover story of this issue, which was quoted by Biochip, one of the top ten scientific and technological breakthroughs in the world.

After returning to China, he stood at the forefront of international biochip research, presided over the establishment of a molecular typing chip technology system for disease prevention, diagnosis and prognosis, led the development of various biochips needed for gene, protein and cell analysis, realized the localization of all supporting instruments needed for biochips, and built a big health management platform centered on the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, such as intelligent diagnosis and treatment equipment, molecular materia medica and emotional conditioning.
