Jiangxi Jiujiang College, with strong teachers and beautiful environment, is located at the foot of Lushan Mountain and beside Poyang Lake. Jiujiang College was formed in March 2002 by the merger of Jiujiang College of Finance and Economics, Jiujiang Teachers College, Jiujiang Medical College and Jiujiang Education College.

The former Jiujiang Institute of Finance and Economics was formerly the China People's Liberation Army Enterprise Cadre School, which was founded in 198 1. 65438-0976 Jiujiang Normal School was transformed into Jiangxi Normal College (Jiujiang Branch). 65438-0978 Jiangxi Normal University (Jiujiang Branch) was established as Jiujiang Normal University.
