Zhejiang A&F University, referred to as Zhejiang A&F University, is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is the only provincial agriculture and forestry university in Zhejiang Province. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, a university jointly established by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau, and a key university in Zhejiang Province.

The school was founded in 1958, then called Tianmulin College. 1960 merged with Zhejiang Agricultural College to form Zhejiang Agricultural University. 1966 was renamed as Zhejiang Forestry College,1970 merged with Zhejiang Agricultural University in July, 1979, and resumed running independently in February.
