Wuhan University of Technology, short for Wuhan University of Technology, located in Wuhan, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is one of the first world-class discipline construction universities. The "2 1 1 Project" construction university was jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport and the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and was selected as the innovation platform of the 985 Project Advantage Discipline.
