Due to the different school-running time and cultural background, each university has formed its own school-running philosophy and cultural accumulation, thus having its own unique school-running style. Students have the opportunity to appreciate the educational concepts and styles of different schools, meet more classmates and teachers, experience different teaching management modes and teaching methods, feel different campus culture and learning atmosphere, and share the superior resources of different universities.

2. Promote the reform and innovation of teaching management system in colleges and universities, and improve the school-running mode and management mechanism of colleges and universities.

Teaching management in colleges and universities has its own characteristics, and there are also differences in curriculum and training programs. The cooperative training of undergraduate exchange students has brought new challenges to colleges and universities in the aspects of student status management, teaching arrangement and student management, which makes colleges and universities have to learn from each other's strong points, face up to their own shortcomings and deficiencies, and then stimulate their own motivation to reform undergraduate teaching and management.

3. Promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between universities.

With the development of the project, the cooperation and exchanges between students, teachers, academic affairs office, student affairs office and other functional departments have become more frequent, which has laid a solid foundation for realizing the goal of "complementary advantages and sharing resources" and realizing comprehensive exchanges and cooperation in many fields such as personnel training and scientific research.

However, it also has some shortcomings: the first problem is geographical estrangement. Not all Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots or students from foreign universities are very friendly to mainland exchange students, and there is a certain "regional special mentality". In short, it is the advantage of exchange students to expand their contacts, which is not easy to implement.

Then there is the difference between living habits and teaching level. After coming back from abroad, it is difficult to keep up with the study of mathematics and physics for a long time. More passively, some credits and achievements obtained abroad are not recognized by our school, which undoubtedly affects the grade points of exchange students.

Finally, there are additional economic expenditures. Without certain economic strength, it is impossible to support the exchange of tuition and living expenses for students.
