1, development history:
Yantai University is a key comprehensive university in Shandong Province. Located in Laishan, Yantai, it was established in July 1984. With the special approval of the former State Education Commission, Peking University and Tsinghua University jointly sent teaching, scientific research and management backbones to build the project, and included their support for Tobacco University in the long-term work plan.
1990 "Peking University" and "Tsinghua Committee for Supporting the Construction of Yantai University" were established to regularly study and guide the teaching, scientific research, discipline construction and reform and development of Yantai University, which enabled Yantai University to have a higher starting point and high-level development.
