Wenzhou University, referred to as "Wenda", is located in Wenzhou Higher Education Park, Zhejiang Province. It is a full-time ordinary college organized by Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, a university founded by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education and Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, a key construction university in Zhejiang Province, and a doctoral degree awarding unit.
