The college attaches great importance to foreign academic exchanges and scientific and technological cooperation, and has established academic exchanges and cooperative research relations with more than ten universities and research units in the United States, Britain, Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan and other countries. We employ four foreign part-time professors. Every year, more than 10 famous scholars at home and abroad give lectures in the college, and send more than 10 foreign students and visiting scholars abroad.

With the construction of key disciplines as the center, supported by national professional laboratories, provincial key disciplines, key laboratories and national biological talent training bases, and a group of young, dedicated and innovative experts and scholars as the backbone, the College will carry forward the spirit of "seeking truth from facts, innovation, reform, opening up and competition", give full play to its existing advantages, strengthen the construction of weak links, promote the all-round development of its work, and strive to build the College into a college based in the southwest, facing the country and facing the world.
