Is a private comprehensive university based on Polytechnic University, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The school is a member of Asia-Pacific International Trade Education and Research Alliance, Asia-Pacific International Education Association and one of the universities accredited by AACSB.
The predecessor of Hanyang University was the East Asia Institute of Technology founded by Korean industrialist Dr. Jin Lianjun in 1939, and was renamed Jianguo Technical School in 1945. July 1948 was renamed Hanyang University of Technology. 1959 was upgraded to a comprehensive university and renamed Hanyang University.
The school focuses on literature, history, economics and management, covering philosophy, politics, economy, management, law and other disciplines, and has gradually developed and expanded in the fields of education, information and finance.
