The Great Wall College of China Geo University was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It was established by China Geo University (Beijing) in cooperation with Baoding Heyang Education Investment Co., Ltd. according to the new mechanism and mode. The college is a full-time undergraduate course, which is included in the unified enrollment plan of ordinary colleges and universities nationwide and faces the national enrollment. At present, there are more than 15000 students in school.

The college is located in Baoding, a famous historical and cultural city in Hebei Province, and is known as the South Gate of Beijing. Baoding, as the centralized bearing place of capital function relief and the important bearing place of Beijing-Tianjin industrial transfer, forms the core of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration with Beijing and Tianjin, and has unique location advantages. The college covers an area of 1.400 mu with a building area of 456,000 square meters. It has complete teaching infrastructure, cultural and sports facilities and comprehensive service facilities for students. The library has a collection of 6.5438+0.28 million volumes, and has a number of electronic periodical databases such as VIP Chinese sci-tech periodical database and superstar e-books.

College is located in South Second Ring Road, Baoding City. It consists of eight departments: Earth Science and Resources Department, Information Engineering Department, Engineering Department, Management Science and Engineering Department, Economics Department, Foreign Languages Department, Basic Courses Department and physical education class Department. The development goal of the college is to build it into a first-class independent college with distinctive school-running characteristics, strong teachers, advanced teaching facilities, beautiful campus environment and public recognition.
