Hunan University of Science and Technology graduated without a final exam. According to official website of Hunan University of Science and Technology, since 2007, the school has cancelled the final exam before graduation, requiring students to retake the exam on time. Hunan University of Science and Technology was formed in 2003 by the merger of Xiangtan Institute of Technology and Xiangtan Normal University, the second undergraduate normal university in Hunan Province.
