What epidemic prevention and control work should be done in the process of school resumption?
In order to do a good job in resuming classes in schools, National Health Commission and the Ministry of Education jointly issued a technical plan for epidemic prevention and control in universities, primary and secondary schools and kindergartens. The purpose of these technical schemes is to guide schools to resume classes in an all-round way. At the same time, the two departments held video conferences to further promote the implementation of prevention and control measures. In the process of school resumption, we should do the following work:

First, establish a cooperation mechanism and improve the prevention and control system. Medical and health institutions and education departments, especially schools, should strengthen communication and coordination, form a "peer-to-peer" cooperation mechanism, guide schools to formulate a series of prevention and control work systems such as epidemic prevention and control work plans and school emergency plans, and ensure that all prevention and control measures can be put in place.

Second, schools should monitor the health of teachers and students and do a good job in personnel control. Especially for the class, do a good job in the morning and afternoon patrol system, register the absence of students every morning and afternoon, check the symptoms of students, such as taking their temperature, and observe whether the children have suspicious symptoms. It is necessary to strengthen the management of children who are absent from school, and it is strictly forbidden for some children with symptoms to attend classes with illness. In the process of school resumption, it is necessary to control the gathering activities and the density of school personnel, and keep a safe distance between children.

The third is to strengthen school environmental sanitation management. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the environmental sanitation of classrooms, canteens, dormitories, toilets and washrooms, with cleaning as the main task and preventive disinfection as the supplement. It is necessary to strengthen the ventilation of classrooms and offices, guide teachers and students to develop good hygiene habits, especially strengthen the management of children's hand hygiene, keep their hands clean, and reduce the chances of children's infection.

Fourth, do a good job in school emergency response and strengthen supervision and inspection of schools. Once teachers and students have suspicious symptoms, on the one hand, they should report to the school in time, on the other hand, they should inform the health department in time, observe in time or seek medical treatment from a family doctor for further medical investigation. Once a suspected case is found, the school should immediately launch an emergency plan and take prevention and control measures. Regarding whether the school's prevention and control measures are put in place, the relevant local departments should strengthen supervision and inspection, find existing problems in time, help schools improve relevant measures, ensure the normal recovery of school order to the maximum extent during the resumption of classes, and ensure that children can go to school and attend classes safely.
