I. Introduction of Guangxi University of Science and Technology
1. Guangxi University of Science and Technology is located in Liuzhou, a national historical and cultural city, an important industrial town in southwest China, a transportation hub and a commercial and logistics center. The school was approved by the Ministry of Education on April 6, 20 13, and was formed by the merger of the former Guangxi Institute of Technology and the former Liuzhou Medical College. It is an ordinary institution of higher learning specializing in engineering, management, science, medicine, economics, literature, law, art and teaching, and is directly under the management of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
2. The school has three campuses, namely Donghuan, Liushi and Liudong, covering an area of nearly 4,000 mu. There are 20 secondary colleges, 19 research institutes (centers), 2 directly affiliated hospitals and 79 specialties. There are nearly 1.800 faculty members and more than 27,000 full-time students.
3. The school has more than 30 teaching and research platforms, including Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, National Key Vocational Education Teacher Training Base, National Automobile Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (* * *), Guangxi Engineering Technology Research Center (* * *), Guangxi University Collaborative Innovation Center, Guangxi School-Enterprise Research Platform, Key Laboratory of Autonomous Region, Autonomous Region Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, and Autonomous Region Demonstration Higher Vocational Education Training Base.
