Why do more and more college students don't want to work after graduation?
For most college graduates, they are actively looking for jobs, because this is an important goal of the university after all. The reason why many people choose to go to college is to find a good job. However, under the current employment situation, some students do not want to go to work after graduation. What is the reason? According to my observation in colleges and universities in the past 20 years, I think there are mainly the following reasons.

First, I can't find the right job. In the process of job hunting, college students all hope to find a job that matches their major, but the demand for some majors in society is insufficient, or that is. There are too many students who have graduated from this major, which leads to the fact that students can't find such a job after graduation, so if there is no chance, then he is unwilling to find a job.

Second, the geographical problem of work. In the process of job hunting, some students are confined to finding jobs locally, rather than going abroad. It is very common in these large and medium-sized cities. Many students are ok because of their family conditions. Then, they don't want to leave their area and can't find a suitable job, so they simply don't look for a job and stay at home.

Third, family reasons. Now there are some college graduates after graduation. Because they can't find a suitable job, they don't want to do some relatively poor jobs. In addition, some families have better conditions and better finances, and their parents allow them to stay at home. In other words, in order to find a better job in the future, because there is no financial burden, such college students are unwilling to work after graduation, preferring to stay at home.

Fourth, their own conditions are not yet available. Some students have not really formed the goals needed for professional education and training after four years of study in university. So they don't match the job they are looking for in all aspects of knowledge and ability, which leads to the failure to find the corresponding job. Then they formed some bad habits in college, such as being too addicted to games and being lazy, so these bad qualities are also reflected in their study, and poor study has also become the reason why they can't find a job. When they can't find a suitable job, they choose not to work.

Fifth, today's employment pressure is really great. At present, the scale of higher education in China has jumped to 1 in the world, and more than 8 million college students graduate every year. This kind of competition leads to great pressure of employment competition. Some students can't bear this pressure, and feel that there is no hope for employment after graduation and they are unwilling to find a job.

In a word, the employment of college students is a very complicated issue, which is also of great concern to the society. The unwillingness of college students to work varies from person to person, of course, some are caused by the overall economic and social reasons of the country, and some are also caused by individual reasons. Of course, I still hope that the fewer people who don't want to work, the better, because after all, four years of study can make a little contribution to society and create a little value for themselves.
