The Graduate School of Dalian University, formerly known as graduate department of Dalian University, was established in August 2003 and renamed as the Graduate School of Dalian University in April 201/. The graduate school consists of three departments: the Admissions Office, the Training and Degree Office and the General Office.
The Admissions Office is mainly responsible for postgraduate enrollment; Formulate and report the postgraduate enrollment plan; Compile the general rules for postgraduate enrollment and the examination outline; Admissions consultation, etc.
The Training and Degree Office is mainly responsible for the formulation of postgraduate training programs; Course arrangement; Teaching material construction; Teaching reform; Master's degree awarding and management, and the construction of tutor team; Review and defense of dissertations; Quality supervision and inspection of dissertations, etc.
The comprehensive office is mainly responsible for the seal management of graduate schools; Fund management; Equipment management; Daily reception; Document and archive management; Student status management; Information collection and management; Website management of graduate school; Ideological education and behavior management of graduate students: management of awards and grants; National student loans and medical insurance management; Organization and management of graduate clubs and societies; Dormitory management and so on.
