Wuhai College and Wuhai Vocational and Technical College of Inner Mongolia University of Technology are full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and filed by the Ministry of Education. They are under the dual leadership of the Education Department of the Autonomous Region and the Wuhai Municipal People's Government. From June 2004 15, Wuhai College of Inner Mongolia University of Technology was approved, and on February 6, 2005, Wuhai Vocational and Technical College was approved, with one entity and two brands.
