What's it like to be a scum in college?
Learning is a kind of ability, and sometimes it really has nothing to do with academic performance, especially in college. Even if you are scum, there is no shameful experience. As long as you are confident, you are excellent in other aspects, and there is nothing special about being a scum in college.

My college roommate is a school scum. To tell the truth, she is very capable, including learning ability, but she is lazy and doesn't like classes very much. She seems to have a lot of complaints about the teachers of college specialized courses, and only likes her own management teacher. Unfortunately, they only taught us for one year.

She often skips classes. After skipping class, she didn't sleep in the dormitory or fall in love with the boy she liked. On the contrary, she participates in various social activities, student organizations on campus, such as the school student union, and cadres of many of them. This shows that her ability is not bad at all.

Although her final exam results were the last in her class, she didn't fail and had no bad record, except for skipping classes, so many teachers had no impression of her at all. In my roommate's eyes, college is more about practice than study. Why do you always sit in the classroom like a junior high school student or a senior high school student and listen to the teacher's boring content, not to mention that many of them are outdated?

She's right. For example, computer language, what we learn is out of touch with what is currently used in the market, and it doesn't make much sense at all, but we still have to study hard and prepare for the exam. As a scum, she is not worried at all, because it makes no difference whether she does well in the exam. What she wants is real ability and knowledge.

We have a good relationship. I often ask her, is it embarrassing and sad for a girl to be laughed at as a scum because of her poor academic performance? She told me that she didn't feel anything. After all, she knows what she wants, whether it's scum or bully. In the end, isn't she just looking at ability? Academic achievement is only one of the small scales.
