Beijing Sport University, located at No.48, Information Road, Haidian District, Beijing, is a physical education institution directly under the State Sports General Administration. It is the first batch of national key institutions identified by the State Council after the founding of New China, and it is also a national double-class construction institution, 2 1 1 national key construction institution of engineering. We merged and selected the program of introducing talents through discipline innovation in institutions of higher learning, the national project of building high-level university graduate students, the national project of new engineering research and practice, and the institutions that received scholarships from the government of China for overseas students in China. The history of the school can be traced back to the preparation of 1952 and the opening ceremony of 1953. Formerly known as the Central Institute of Physical Education, it was renamed Beijing Institute of Physical Education in 1956, and finally renamed Beijing Sport University in 1993.
