Higher education park

Dushu Lake Higher Education Zone, located on the bank of Dushu Lake in the east of Suzhou, was established in 2002 with a planned total area of about 1 1 square kilometer and a planned total population of about 200,000. At present, there are 18 institutions of higher learning in China, with 68,000 students, including about130,000 graduate students and more than 3,000 faculty members.
