In 2003, the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in Enrollment of Adult Colleges and Universities stipulates that only after obtaining the diploma of junior college or above issued by the national education series colleges and universities approved by the Ministry of Education or the higher education self-study examination institutions can you apply for the entrance examination for undergraduate and second degree majors in adult colleges and universities. In terms of academic qualifications, the national education series of higher education includes six aspects: undergraduate, undergraduate, second bachelor's degree, postgraduate (closed), master's and doctoral students. Graduation certificates issued by adult institutions of higher learning (that is, radio and television universities, workers' universities, farmers' colleges, management cadre colleges, education colleges, independent correspondence colleges, correspondence courses and evening university education in ordinary colleges and universities), ordinary colleges and universities (including scientific research institutions for cultivating graduate students) and private colleges and universities approved by the national education department (Ministry of Education) are recognized by the state.
