The University of Southern Queensland, founded in 1967, is a public comprehensive university recognized by the Australian government and the Ministry of Education of China. Since its establishment, the University of Southern Queensland has always enjoyed a high reputation for its excellent teaching level, which is highly respected by other higher education institutions, educators and international professional education institutions around the world. At present, there are nearly 20,000 students studying in this school, about 30% of whom are international students from more than 20 countries, and some China students go to the University of Southern Queensland to study through Australia.
geographical position
The main campus of the University of Southern Queensland is located in Toumba, a famous garden city in southeastern Queensland. The city has good public security, pleasant environment and relatively low prices. The other two campuses of the university are Spinfield in Brisbane and Wedbey at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
Departmental setup
The University of Southern Queensland has five colleges, namely, College of Arts, College of Business, College of Education, College of Engineering and Surveying and College of Science. The university adopts the teaching form of small class, and students can get more guidance and attention from experienced academic teachers.
