(1), marine science and technology

This major focuses on marine exploration and communication technology and marine environmental monitoring technology, and cultivates senior professionals with solid mathematical foundation, basic knowledge of marine science and modern information processing technology, who can be competent for marine high-tech development and research, marine resources development and marine engineering construction.

Main courses: introduction to marine science, acoustic foundation, underwater acoustic technology, electronic technology, sensor technology, marine remote sensing, information processing technology, marine investigation and observation technology, etc.

Graduates are mainly engaged in marine scientific research, marine resources investigation and development, marine environmental monitoring, marine resources management, marine detection and monitoring instruments and other technologies and development related to electronic information and acoustic information in institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes, State Oceanic Administration and naval units.
