Chuzhou University, with a strong faculty, is the first batch of pilot schools in Anhui Province's Higher Education Revitalization Plan "Construction of Local Application-oriented High-level Universities", a national-level university that implements the innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, a national model university that deepens the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, "Emergency Safety and Wisdom Learning Workshop (2020)" and the Emergency Management College, and a member of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance.

Chuzhou College, formerly known as Chuzhou Normal School, was founded in 1950. 1977, the teaching point of Chuxian County, Anhui Normal University (Chuzhou Branch) was established; 1980 changed its name to Chuzhou Normal University; Approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004, it was upgraded and named Chuzhou College. In 20 19, the school was formally incorporated into the construction unit of Anhui provincial master's degree program.

The development of history

The school's predecessor was Chuzhou Normal School (Chuxian Normal School), which was founded in 1950.

1950 in April, the administrative office of northern Anhui decided to organize the "Chuzhou Normal School in northern Anhui". In September, the newly established Chuzhou Normal School began to enroll students, with the first enrollment plan of 100 students. During their studies, many students took various conscription examinations twice and joined the army. By the time the first batch of students graduated from 1953, there were 56 students left.

195 1 in the summer vacation, the school moved to Dingyuan Road and Bridge to run a school, set up a rotation training class for teachers, and recruited a junior normal class and two secondary normal classes.

At the beginning of 1952, the school moved back to Chuxian Garden (now the north campus of Chuzhou University) to run a school; Chuxian Normal School in northern Anhui was renamed as Chuxian Normal School in Anhui Province.
