Guangxi Normal University is located in Guilin, a world-famous scenic tourist city. Guangxi Normal University currently has three campuses, namely Wangcheng Campus (Xiufeng District 1 Wangcheng), Yucai Campus (Qixing District 15 Yucai Road) and Yanshan Campus (Yanshan District 1 Zhong Yan Road).

Wangcheng Campus of Guangxi Normal University (Jingjiang Wangcheng) is the main part of the scenic spot of Duxiu Peak, a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Jingjiang Palace is the oldest and best-preserved palace in Ming Dynasty in China. It was the Gongyuan of Guangxi in the Qing Dynasty, and later became the Wangcheng Campus of Guangxi Normal University. Since before the Ming Dynasty, it has concentrated the history and culture of Guilin for hundreds of years.
