School history: Jilin Agricultural University is a provincial key university in Jilin Province, which was founded by the People's Government of Jilin Province in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Founded in 1948, formerly known as Heilongjiang Agricultural Cadre School founded by Central Ximan Branch. 1950 was changed to Heilongjiang Agricultural College, and 1956 began undergraduate education and was renamed Bei 'an Agricultural College.

School area: The school is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, with an area of 1 347, of which the campus area is 3 12.66 hectares, the teaching and research base is 1 034.34 hectares, and the total construction area is 444,800 square meters.
